I am an architect passionate about curatorship, museography, culture and the development of innovative projects of high social impact that empathetically connect with people and communities. Thanks to my experience as curator and designer, I have been able to lead for two decades the evolution of important museological and architectural spaces in the public and private sector in Colombia, focused on the generation of experiences and interactivity through playful learning for the appropriation of collections in large museums of science and technology, modern art and memory representative of the cultural heritage of the region and country.
The foundation, museology, curatorship and museography of the Museo Casa de la Memoria de Medellín (2011-2020); the architecture of Parque Explora (2004-2007) and the current Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín (2010-2011); the cultural revitalization and curatorhip of the Palacio de Cultura Rafael Uribe Uribe (2020-2021); the expansion of the Museo Arqueológico de Jericó (2009-2010) and the museography of the Museo Nacional de Colombia (2021-2022), have been its greatest achievements and lessons learned. The Mayor's Office of Medellin, the Government of Antioquia, the Museum of Antioquia and the Ministry of Culture of Colombia are the main entities I have served.
